Patrick Snelling

My project is an animation celebrating queer history and culture, I have animated my own visual representations of queer celebrity, the gay rights movement, social history and media coverage that was and is so iconic; that it caught the attention of “mainstream audiences”. My inspiration came from the pixel art movement and the artists who used this media to create a visual language from old video games from which pixel art originates.
