Niamh Smith

The focal point of this project is a celebration of those who we hold dear to us. I have taken more of an approach towards pets, especially dogs as I believe we as people can learn a lot from them. For a dog, their owner and family make up their whole world. It is clear in the behaviour of dogs that they seem incredibly happy with what many people may consider some of the simplest things in life, their family, food, and a walk in the park. Because of this, I have chosen to present my work from a dog’s point of view, as a way of demonstrating to my audience just how much we can learn from them. A dog will always appreciate the simplest, yet arguably most important things in life.
