Carris PoveyMy project concerns gender and identity, Internet Culture, self-obsession and satirising gender stereotypes. The project combines all of the different themes and topics such as mental health, creepy/cute aesthetics, and all of the different working styles I found inspiration from, such as Kitsch and Yami-kawaii. I have created a series of sculptures that reflect my findings from this project. They all come together in the form of abstract, kitsch, polymer clay over-the-top craziness.
